Missions


If you are looking for a way to bless others and be blessed in return, if you want to grow in your faith through deeds, if you are hearing God’s call to go in His name, then participation in missions will be of certain interest to you.

Estero United Methodist Church (EUMC) is involved in missions at all levels – local, national, and global.  You are invited to become involved as you consider how best to use your God given talents and gifts!  The following is an overview of mission areas where opportunities abound and where you can participate through pray, donations and service.

Local
• Café of Life – feed the hungry
• For His Children Summer Rec Program Scholarships – invite in a stranger
• Guadalupe Center in Immokalee – cloth the homeless
• Interfaith Caregivers – feed the hungry
• Migrant Lunches – feed the hungry
• Traveling Praise Team – care for the sick

National
• Florida United Methodist Children’s Home – invite in a stranger
• Kairos Prison Ministry – visit those in prison
• UMCOR Sager Brown Depot – care for the homeless

Global
• China - missionary
• Cuba – La Levisa Sister Church
• Haiti – Cherette Sister Church
• Israel - missionaries
